🍂 Getting Lost (and Found) at Port Farms

Fall has a way of slowing life down just enough to remind you what matters — fresh air, good company, and a little adventure. That’s exactly what I got when my girlfriend and I spent the afternoon at Port Farms in Waterford, PA . As soon as we pulled in, the smell of kettle corn hit me, and I knew we were in for a good day. The crisp air, the sound of leaves crunching under our shoes, and the rows of bright orange pumpkins set the perfect fall mood. We started at the pumpkin patch , walking through the field trying to find “the one.” She picked up a few that were shaped a little funny, and we laughed about whose pumpkin would make the better jack-o’-lantern. It wasn’t about finding the perfect one — it was about the moment, and that made it special. After that, we decided to tackle the corn maze — which, honestly, looked easier from the outside. Once we were a few turns in, everything started looking the same. Tall stalks, dirt paths, and no clear way out. She ended up getting us lost...

Wrestling Nights: Me, My Brother, and JW

Wrestling Nights: Me, My Brother, and JW Some of my favorite memories aren’t from vacations or big milestones—they’re from simple nights at home with my brother and our stepdad. Funny enough, those nights usually involved the flashing lights, wild entrances, and over-the-top drama of WWE. Growing up, it was usually just my brother and me watching wrestling because our stepdad JW didn’t really care for it at first. But eventually, he’d sit down with us, and all three of us would end up on the couch with our snacks in hand, waiting for the show to start. My brother and I would get hyped, picking which wrestler we were rooting for. Our stepdad would laugh and cheer whenever someone jumped off the top rope for an elbow drop, amazed every time like it was the first he’d ever seen it. We’d crack up whenever he’d let a cuss word slip after a big body slam—he’s got no filter, and that always made it funnier. Growing up, my favorite wrestler was Kofi Kingston. He’s Jamaican, and since I have...

Autism Society Halloween Event 🎃🧩

Autism Society Halloween Event 🎃🧩 Daniel’s Insight David and I rode the lift to the Autism Society event on Saturday, October 11th. When we first arrived, I realized we had been standing at the wrong door the whole time! The event was Halloween-themed, and right away, I noticed how festive and welcoming it felt. They even had a coffee machine — and trust me, we both needed a little caffeine in our system before the fun started. As we headed downstairs, the music started playing because karaoke was about to begin. David looked at me and said, “I hope they start playing MJ,” and I said, “Me too! I know all the songs.” Then I started imitating Michael Jackson’s dance moves, and David — along with another person nearby — burst out laughing. It was a costume edition, so people were dressed up, and there was a good mix of music and laughter. For lunch, we had chicken tenders and fries, and the staff also provided cookies, cupcakes, pretzels, and cheese — basically all the good stuff....
